Today, the Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic, Meder Mashiev, began receiving participants of the IV People's Kurultai.
According to the ministry, during the event, 33 appeals were received from citizens. Some of the raised issues were addressed on-site, while others were taken under control for further study and implementation. The proposals and opinions of citizens remain a priority for the ministry's work.
Among the issues raised were topics related to wastewater treatment, licensing of mining activities, the creation of landfills for solid waste, and ensuring environmental safety.
“All issues under the personal control of the minister will be addressed in accordance with current legislation, and necessary measures will be taken with the support of the relevant state bodies. Responses will be sent to citizens at the specified addresses,” the ministry noted.
It is worth noting that today the reception of delegates for the IV People's Kurultai has started, which is taking place at the T. Abdumomunov Kyrgyz State Academic Drama Theater.
