On December 24, 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Zheenbek Kulubaev, held a meeting with delegates of the IV People's Kurultai, which included 30 people. This information was announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the KR.
The delegates represent various diaspora organizations and associations of compatriots operating in countries such as the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Germany, the USA, Canada, Italy, the Czech Republic, the United Kingdom, Lithuania, Slovakia, Poland, South Korea, and Egypt.
During the meeting, Kulubaev introduced the participants to the main directions of current state policy, as well as the socio-economic development of Kyrgyzstan. He also spoke about the work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which is aimed at implementing the tasks set by President Sadyr Japarov in the area of protecting the rights and legitimate interests of citizens living abroad.
A key point of discussion was the issue of protecting the rights of compatriots both in neighboring and far abroad. The delegates highlighted the pressing problems faced by Kyrgyz citizens outside the country.
The Minister noted that all expressed proposals and raised issues would be carefully considered. He emphasized that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs would continue to strengthen cooperation with the diasporas and protect the interests of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic abroad. The head of the department expressed confidence that the proposals of the delegates would become an important contribution to the further development of Kyrgyzstan.
