
During the meeting, the minister noted that collaboration with large hypermarkets and markets in the capital is already yielding results. He stated: “We are seeing understanding from suppliers and certain successes in reducing prices. It is important to review price proposals across the entire supply chain. Our goal is to support citizens, and we do not expect you to operate at a loss, but we only urge a reasonable approach.” Additionally, the minister reported that the Antimonopoly Regulation Service under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce has intensified monitoring of the situation and has issued more than 30 fines in the last two days.
The Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, together with the antimonopoly service, will continue to monitor the pricing situation to ensure stability in the consumer market and protect the interests of citizens.
