Today, a meeting took place at the T. Abdumomunov Kyrgyz National Drama Theater between the Minister of Energy Talaybek Ibraev and the delegates of the IV People's Kurultai, during which their appeals were discussed.
According to the ministry, during the event, 78 appeals were received, the majority of which concerned the replacement of outdated overhead lines, modernization of substations, and gasification of regions. Delegates also raised questions about the construction of small hydropower plants and the installation of solar panels.
Minister Ibraev listened attentively to each delegate; some questions were resolved on the spot, while others, requiring more thorough analysis, were forwarded to the relevant leaders.
Representatives of the T. Kulatov Ayil Okmotu reminded that at the III People's Kurultai, they appealed to the Ministry of Energy with a request to build a substation in their area. The ministry promptly responded to this appeal and successfully implemented the project. Today, the residents of this ayil expressed their gratitude by presenting a letter of appreciation to the ministry.
Delegates also discussed important industry issues, expressed their proposals for the development of the energy sector, and asked questions of interest to the minister.
As a result of the meeting, it was emphasized that sustainable development of the energy sector and strengthening cooperation are of great importance. The minister assured that no appeal from the delegates would go unanswered, and joint efforts would lead to positive changes.
It should be noted that the event will last for two days — December 25 and 26, and will take place with the participation of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
