According to the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic, there have been no reported cases of fire at the landfill in Belovodsk at this time.
By order of Minister Meder Mashiev, specialists from the Environmental and Technical Supervision Service of the Ministry of Natural Resources promptly went to the site to check the condition of the landfill for possible fire hotspots.
This inspection was initiated following statements made by deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh during a joint meeting of several parliamentary committees held on December 23.
During the inspection, explanatory activities were also carried out, and the Ministry of Natural Resources emphasized that efforts in this direction will continue.
