"Education is not just about schools; it is a whole ecosystem. Our task is to transform universities into knowledge centers where research and innovations will contribute to the country's transition to a knowledge economy," noted President Sadyr Japarov on December 25 during the People's Kurultai.

He also emphasized that innovative hubs, technoparks, and business incubators will be created at universities, providing young people with the opportunity to launch startups, patent their developments, implement new technologies, and commercialize ideas.

"What seemed like a dream yesterday must become a reality tomorrow," the president added.

Moreover, he highlighted the importance of training highly qualified specialists and professions.

"Kyrgyzstan is facing a shortage of labor, low productivity, and a significant gap between the educational system and the needs of the economy. In this context, the development of dual education is not just a desire or an experiment, but a pressing necessity dictated by the strategic interests of the time, the labor market, and the state. We need to strengthen this sector without delay," he stated.

The dual education model allows students to combine studies with practical work, developing professional skills, discipline, and responsibility. Young people strive to see the results of their work, gain experience during their studies, and build confidence in the future. Dual education opens up such opportunities.

When a student spends part of their time in production, in the service sector, in engineering companies, on construction sites, or in IT projects, they gain not only theoretical knowledge but also real professional skills. Involving employers in the training process creates conditions for the formation of specialists in demand by the economy.

Thus, an effective model is created that contributes to increasing labor productivity and forming new personnel reserves for the country. It must be frankly acknowledged: without a significant expansion of dual education, it is impossible to develop the industrial sector, increase export volumes, and address issues of technological modernization and staff shortages.

Therefore, the state will consistently and decisively develop this direction as one of the key elements in forming a new level of human capital," concluded the president.
