President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov emphasized the importance of this institution as a stable foundation in the country's political system during the IV People's Kurultai. He noted that the kurultai is becoming a significant platform for discussing and resolving national issues in cooperation between the government and society.
The head of state pointed out that over time, the People's Kurultai has gained a unique place in the political system, functioning as a "living bridge" between the present and the future of Kyrgyz statehood.
“This is the core of democracy, an open platform where every region, sector, and community can express their opinion. Here, the voice of the people reaches the highest echelons of power and is taken into account in the decision-making process. The kurultai is gradually becoming an important mechanism for interaction between the state and citizens, confirming that the authorities listen to the interests of society. Delegates are becoming increasingly experienced each year and represent the real interests of the people,” said Sadyr Japarov.
