The Service for Regulation and Supervision of the Financial Market continues its activities to identify and combat illegal lotteries that are actively spreading on the internet.
According to the agency, unscrupulous organizers offer various prizes, such as cars and significant cash amounts, under the pretext of "draws," misleading citizens and violating the law. These schemes pose a danger to the financial security of the population.
As a result of monitoring conducted by the State Financial Supervision Agency, signs of illegal lotteries were found on the following platforms:
- fitness club "Dasmia"
- Shopping center "Bishkek Park"
- YouTube channel "Million TV"
- YouTube channel "Tulpar TV"
- YouTube channel "Aselden Belek"
- YouTube channel "Meerim TV"
The State Financial Supervision Agency highlighted several key signs indicating illegal schemes:
- absence of official permission;
- requirement to transfer money to participate or receive a "prize";
- unclear rules, deadlines, and conditions for conducting;
- promises of prizes, such as cars and large sums of money, without legal grounds.
- do not provide personal information and money to organizers of dubious draws;
- avoid participating in "lotteries" offered through social networks, messengers, and video platforms;
- report suspicious situations to the State Financial Supervision Agency or law enforcement agencies.
- check for permits to conduct lotteries;
- verify the registration of lotteries in official registers;
- do not trust offers that are "too good to be true";
- use only official sources of information.
