According to information from the State Financial Supervision, the Service for Regulation and Supervision of the Financial Market has updated the list of countries and territories that pose a high risk to Kyrgyzstan.

This update is the result of fulfilling the requirements outlined in the government decree regarding the procedure for applying measures (sanctions) to high-risk states, adopted in 2018.

The new list includes 59 countries, which are subject to enhanced customer verification measures and other sanctions provided by law.

The State Financial Supervision reminds participants in the non-banking financial market of the necessity to strictly follow established procedures to ensure proper control when interacting with clients and counterparties.

Among the countries mentioned in the list are Algeria, Angola, Aruba, Venezuela, Iran, Kenya, Lebanon, Monaco, Congo, Gabon, Syria, Somalia, and others.
