Kyrgyz transporters have gained unified access to TRACECA routes to Turkey and Europe

This innovation opens new opportunities for domestic transporters

According to the Ministry of Transport and Communications, Kyrgyzstan has successfully completed the process of joining the multilateral permit system of the international transport corridor Europe-Caucasus-Asia (TRACECA).

Joining the system allows transport carriers from Kyrgyzstan to use a single multilateral TRACECA permit, which replaces the need for bilateral permits for transit and transportation through the participating countries of the project.

This permit grants the right to carry out international freight transportation across the territories of all participating countries without the need to obtain separate national documents. It is a one-time permit, valid for one round trip, and allows for up to two entries and exits in each country. The permit is suitable for bilateral, transit, and combined transportation, as well as for transport to and from third countries.

After integrating into the TRACECA system, Kyrgyz transporters will be able to operate routes under a single permit to countries such as Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, Romania, Turkey, and Ukraine.

The Ministry of Transport emphasizes that participation in TRACECA will create more favorable conditions for the development of international road transport and expand the country's logistics capabilities.
