22 tons of feed salt from Uzbekistan intercepted at the Kyrgyzstan border

At the veterinary control point "Dostuk" on the border of Kyrgyzstan with Uzbekistan, inspectors stopped a large shipment of animal salt. The cargo, which weighed a total of 22 tons, did not pass the safety standards check. During the inspection, specialists discovered serious violations of veterinary and sanitary requirements established for the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The detention occurred due to the non-compliance of the veterinary accompanying documents with the necessary norms, which raises doubts about the quality and safety of this product.

As a result of the inspection, the veterinary control inspectors issued a ban on the import of this batch of salt. An official act for the return was drawn up, and all products were sent back to Uzbekistan through the same checkpoint. The tightening of control at the border is being carried out to ensure epizootic well-being in the country and strict compliance with the regulations of the Customs Union.
