At a recent ceremony in Davos dedicated to the signing of the "Peace Council" charter for Gaza, Jared Kushner, son-in-law of former U.S. President Donald Trump, presented an ambitious "master plan" for the Gaza Strip.

During his speech, Kushner announced plans to divide the sector into various zones. Initially, the creation of a free zone and a territory controlled by Hamas was proposed, but this idea was abandoned in favor of a more comprehensive and promising approach.

“We initially thought about a free zone alongside a Hamas zone, but later decided that it would be better to plan for real success,” Kushner noted, specifying the existence of a master plan.

The implementation of the project is expected to be phased and will affect both Gaza itself and other regions of the Middle East.

The plan includes providing housing for workers, creating full employment for all citizens, and establishing conditions to unlock everyone's potential. It also envisions the creation of economic zones and large-scale reconstruction.

It should be noted that in September 2025, Israel and Hamas signed agreements regarding the first phase of the peace plan, under which all hostages are to be released, and Israeli troops are to be withdrawn to an agreed line.

Earlier, the White House announced a 20-point plan to resolve the situation in the Gaza Strip, which involves the introduction of temporary external governance with international participation.

The second phase of the plan includes the withdrawal of the majority of Israeli troops from the region, the introduction of international stabilization forces, and the creation of a new administrative structure led by the "Peace Council," which will include leaders from several Arab and Western countries.
