In Kyrgyzstan, in January 2026, there has been an increase in prices for refined gold, as confirmed by data from the National Bank of the KR.

As of January 27, the price of one gram of gold reached 15,745.5 soms, while the National Bank offers it at a price of 15,667.5 soms per gram.

The cost of a troy ounce (31.1035 grams) is 454,038.5 soms for sale and 447,329 soms for purchase.

The increase in prices in the domestic market is linked to the rise in the cost of gold on international markets. On January 26, 2026, the spot price of gold exceeded 5,000 dollars per troy ounce, ranging from 5,080 to 5,110 dollars.

The next day, January 27, the quotes slightly decreased but remained high — from 5,060 to 5,070 dollars per ounce.

Compared to the beginning of January, the cost of gold in Kyrgyzstan has significantly increased: in the first days of the month, the price per gram was about 14,000 soms, and the ounce was about 404,000 soms. Thus, over a few weeks, prices increased by more than 12 percent.

The National Bank emphasizes that the prices for gold bullion are adjusted daily, taking into account changes in the global precious metals market and exchange rates.

We remind you that the National Bank of the KR is engaged in the sale and repurchase of refined gold bars weighing from one to 100 grams.
