The second day of the B5+1 business forum "Central Asia - USA" has started in Bishkek, where Benazir Nurlanova, Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan, spoke at the closing plenary session.
She emphasized that the B5+1 format has become an effective tool for establishing public-private dialogue in the country, allowing regional priorities to be transformed into specific projects and solutions that complement cooperation within this format.
“Central Asia is confidently strengthening its position as a region for economic interaction and investment today. Practical steps are already being taken on key business agenda areas, standards are becoming closer, and access to goods in external markets is being simplified. We are also developing digital and financial tools that facilitate cross-border trade and investment,” she noted.

Additionally, she briefly covered the key macroeconomic indicators of the country, noting that over the past four years, the average annual growth rate of the economy has been around 9-10 percent.
“During this period, the state budget has nearly tripled, and the gross domestic product has grown by more than 1.8 times. These achievements confirm that a consistent policy aimed at reducing internal barriers and improving business conditions yields tangible results. We understand that new challenges arise with changes in the global economic situation. It is important for governments and businesses to work in concert, eliminating emerging barriers and finding new opportunities for development,” she added.

“We remain committed to a sustainable dialogue with business, coordinated regional actions, and the practical implementation of the decisions made. We view B5+1 as a long-term partnership and are ready to jointly implement the forum's agreements into specific projects,” she concluded.
