In the village of Toru-Ayghyr, a water supply system has been launched for 62 million soms

On February 6, an official ceremony was held in the village of Toru-Ayghyr in the Issyk-Kul region to inaugurate a new water supply system. The event was attended by Bakyt Torobaev, the presidential envoy in the region Bakytbek Zhetigenov, head of the district administration Japarbek Ormonov, and local residents. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Water Management and Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Project Details

A total of 62,080,254 soms was allocated for the implementation of the project "Reconstruction of the water supply system of the village of Toru-Ayghyr (LOT-1)".

The length of the water supply networks is 15,104 meters;
Two drinking water reservoirs with a capacity of 300 cubic meters have been installed;
12 fire hydrants have been installed;
600 water meters have been installed;
A building for the bactericidal unit has been constructed;
External electrical networks and on-site water supply networks have been laid.

The system has officially been put into operation, providing the residents of Toru-Ayghyr with stable access to quality and safe drinking water.
