Kyrgyzstan is taking steps to promote its eco-friendly products in the vast Chinese market. The focus has been on the prospects for expanding exports, which were discussed in Chengdu, where the trade representative of the Ministry of Economy of Kyrgyzstan, Jusubali Toromamatov, held a meeting with the leadership of Chengdu International Trade Group. The press service of the ministry reported that the parties discussed practical ways for Kyrgyz goods to enter the premium import market.
One of the key aspects of the negotiations was the use of China's developed infrastructure for the distribution of products from Kyrgyzstan. The corporation presented its capabilities in organizing comprehensive import-export operations, creating specialized distribution centers for high-quality goods, and developing cross-border e-commerce. In response, the Kyrgyz side outlined its priority export areas, confirming its status as a reliable supplier of eco-friendly food products, which are becoming increasingly in demand among Chinese consumers.
These negotiations highlight China's strategic interest in diversifying supply sources and open up direct access for Kyrgyz producers to one of the largest consumer markets in the world. As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to continue detailed consultations, and it is expected that this dialogue will soon lead to the launch of specific joint projects that will help Kyrgyz products secure a stable position in the retail networks of Sichuan province and beyond.
