
By the end of 2025, 315 markets were registered in Kyrgyzstan, of which 154 markets belong to the category of mixed daily markets. There were also 95 shopping centers operating, as stated in the report of the National Statistical Committee.
Market Structure
The total number of trading places in the markets amounted to 83,416 units. The largest share is occupied by clothing markets, which account for 29,048 places, and mixed markets with 23,892 places.
Bishkek holds a leading position in the number of trading points with 29,497 places, which is about 35% of the total number in the country. Chui region follows with 11,487 places.
Car Markets
In the sector of car and spare parts sales, there are 10 specialized markets offering 12,401 trading places. Mainly, these places are occupied by individual entrepreneurs — 5,846 places, and by individuals — 6,533. Legal entities have only one trading place for the entire country.
As of the IV quarter of 2025, the total collection for the use of trading places in this segment exceeded 163 million 231 thousand soms.
Shopping Centers
There are 95 shopping centers operating in Kyrgyzstan, with a total area of 472,608 square meters. Almost half of them (43 objects) are located in Bishkek. These centers have 7,957 trading places, of which 5,458 are rented by individual entrepreneurs.
Rental Rates
The average cost of renting one trading place per day in the country is 182 soms. The highest rates are observed in Bishkek — 292 soms, while the lowest prices are registered in Issyk-Kul and Batken regions — 73 and 77 soms, respectively.
