On March 25, 2026, the Minister of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic, Talaybek Ibraev, went on a working trip to China, where he held a series of meetings aimed at implementing a project to create charging stations and energy storage systems. The visit served as a platform for establishing contacts with representatives of major Chinese companies operating in the energy and technology sectors.
During his visit, Ibraev toured the ShuiFa Group factory and corporation in Zhuhai, where he familiarized himself with their production processes. This meeting included a dialogue with Yang Bin, the deputy director and member of the Party Committee of the ShuiFa Corporation.
The negotiations focused on ways to deepen cooperation in the energy sector, resulting in the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic and the ShuiFa company. This document aims at the joint development of energy infrastructure, including charging stations and energy storage systems.
The signing of the memorandum is a significant step towards modernizing the country's energy sector and creating a sustainable transport infrastructure.
In addition, the minister met with Yulin Lyan, the founder and CEO of NUCL New Energy Tech, where they discussed the prospects for collaboration on the development of charging station infrastructure for electric vehicles.
Ibraev also shared information about current projects for the construction of charging stations for electric vehicles in Kyrgyzstan, emphasizing the relevance of applying modern technologies in their installation and operation.
A representative of NUCL New Energy Tech expressed readiness to cooperate with the Ministry of Energy.
Furthermore, the delegation held negotiations with Zhejiang Anfu Energy, a firm specializing in the production of charging stations for electric transport. The discussions covered the possibilities of supply and localization of technologies.
