It all started with a post by Donald Trump on the social network Truth Social. In the photo taken immediately after Maduro's arrest on January 3, he can be seen in handcuffs, with a black blindfold over his eyes and headphones on, wearing a gray Nike Tech Fleece set.

According to Google Trends data, on January 4 and 5, there was a sharp increase in interest in searches related to Nike Tech, grey Nike Tech, and Nike Tech tracksuit. For some queries, the popularity index reached a maximum value of 100 points.

In particular, the 3XL size, in which Maduro was photographed, disappeared from sale just an hour after the image began to spread.
