During the seminar, participants were able to undergo both theoretical and practical training, focusing on rainbow trout. Various diseases of this fish species, their types and examples, as well as treatment methods were discussed during the sessions. The practical part included working with a microscope and diagnostic methods for identifying diseases. Participants also checked the water quality in aquaculture conditions, which is a key aspect in disease prevention and maintaining fish health.
Representatives of fishery entities, department staff, veterinary service and laboratory employees, as well as scientists from the National Academy of Sciences attended the seminar. The event is aimed at enhancing the qualifications of aquaculture specialists in Kyrgyzstan and implementing modern technologies and practices in the field of aquaculture, reports the Ministry of Agriculture.
