A polling station for remote voting has been established at Institution No. 21 of the GSIN

The Central Election Commission of the Kyrgyz Republic has announced the establishment of a polling station for remote voting at Institution No. 21 of the State Penitentiary Service, timed to coincide with the upcoming early parliamentary elections scheduled for November 30, 2025.

The polling station is located at: Bishkek, Geologicheskiy Lane, 2a and was established to improve conditions for the exercise of citizens' voting rights, taking into account the request of Institution No. 21 of the State Penitentiary Service.

The District Election Commission has been tasked with forming the composition of the precinct election commission responsible for remote voting, as well as conducting informational and explanatory work among voters in collaboration with the detention center.

“Institution No. 21 of the State Penitentiary Service will provide the necessary support, including allocating premises for the precinct commission, ensuring electricity, communication means, and other equipment,” the official statement notes.
