In the context of the current geopolitical situation, the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) has reaffirmed its role and significance. This was stated by political scientist Mamat Aibalaev in an interview with the Kabar agency.
He noted that the joint resolution of security issues for member states such as Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Tajikistan is an important aspect of the organization's work.
“The CSTO plays a significant role in regional security issues. It is necessary to continue working in this direction, especially under current conditions when security issues are becoming increasingly relevant. Thus, we can talk about expanding the range of tasks that the organization needs to address,” Aibalaev emphasized.
