Alexey Sandykov, an international observer from Armenia, shared with journalists that no factors capable of influencing the course or results of the elections were observed during the voting.

He emphasized that Kyrgyzstan demonstrates a high level of preparedness for the elections, especially in terms of using modern technologies.

“We are observing the electoral procedures as part of the CIS mission for the third time, and we are impressed by the technological approach that significantly simplifies the voting process. For example, the identification of voters using QR codes and ID cards, as well as duplication with fingerprints and instant printing of ballots – these are innovations not found in the countries where we have previously conducted observations,” he noted.

Sandykov also mentioned the growing popularity of electronic ballot boxes, which are becoming a trend in organizing elections.

“Otherwise, everything is proceeding in a standard manner. Voters are actively participating from 08:00, and we visited three polling stations at the moment of their opening. Although there might have been some minor technical issues with communication at the beginning, people actively urged the election commissions to speed up the voting process, which is certainly encouraging,” the observer added.
