According to information provided by the regional police, on December 1, after the extraordinary elections for deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, a video appeared on the internet indicating a potential attempt at vote-buying. The duration of the clip is 28 seconds, and it is believed to have been filmed at polling station No. 5249, located in the village of Kyrgyz-Chek in the Kara-Suu district (electoral district No. 8).
The video states that unknown individuals attempted to obtain voters' ballots by offering them money.
In connection with this fact, information has been registered with the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Osh region, and preliminary investigations have been initiated. Police officers are currently working to clarify all the details of the incident and are carrying out the necessary procedural actions.
As reported by the Internal Affairs Directorate, final conclusions will be made based on the results of the investigation.
