Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul suspended from boxing after the fight in Miami

In Miami, USA, a heavyweight fight took place on the night of December 20, where former world champion Anthony Joshua (29–4, 25 KOs) defeated American Jake Paul (12–2, 7 KOs) by knockout.
After the fight, the Florida State Athletic Commission decided to temporarily suspend both boxers from competition due to the risk of injury and health threats. Paul sustained the most damage, suffering a broken jaw.
Immediately after the fight, Jake was taken to the hospital while spitting blood. The duration of the suspension for both Joshua and Paul will be announced later, but there is a possibility that Jake may face a three-month ban from participating in fights.
This match was Joshua's first since September 2024, when he suffered a heavy defeat to Daniel Dubois in a title fight. Paul, for his part, ended his winning streak, which had lasted since February 2022 and included six fights.
