Francis Ngannou, the holder of the heavyweight boxing world champion title, has announced the possibility of his return to the promotion to participate in a tournament that will take place at the White House on June 14. The Cameroonian noted that his contract with PFL is coming to an end, which opens the way for him to this anticipated fight.

After leaving the UFC in early 2023, Ngannou had significant bouts against stars like Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua. Within PFL, he managed to have one fight, in which he knocked out Renan Ferreira, becoming the first champion in the heavyweight category of PFL Super Fights.

The fighter also expressed a desire to meet in the ring with Jon Jones, who is also planning to participate in the tournament, and is eager to have a fight with Deontay Wilder in 2026. However, the decision regarding these planned bouts remains in the hands of the competition organizers.
