Suymbaev reported that the Aravan district does not have its own water source, and for agricultural needs, it uses resources from the Papanskoye reservoir, as well as from Batken and Uzbekistan.
“We urgently need a mini-reservoir,” he noted.
He also expressed hope for finding an investor for this project. The delegate provided data indicating that from October to March, 8-10 cubic meters of water per second flow into the Aravan-Say river from Nookat. According to him, if the reservoir is built, water can be accumulated during this period, which will solve the problem of spring shortages.
“If it happens that in 200 years someone asks who built this reservoir, the answer will be: during the time of Pasha Sadyr Nurgozhoevich,” the delegate added, emphasizing the importance of historical heritage.
In addition, he made a request for assistance in transforming the allocated 7 hectares for the construction of a canning factory in the rural municipality of Dobo-Korgon.
