The first day of the meeting took place on December 26.
Approximately 700 delegates from all corners of the country gathered at the Kurultai, including representatives of the Kyrgyz diaspora abroad and various religious communities.
The opening of the event began with a video presentation showcasing key indicators of the country's socio-economic development over the past few years.
Following that, many industrial and social facilities across the country were inaugurated online. On the same day, dozens of new enterprises and social infrastructure facilities were put into operation, including logistics and production capacities, kindergartens, schools, medical and sports institutions.
The construction of an important highway in the Batken region was completed, ensuring transport accessibility for the remote village of Zardaly and significantly improving regional infrastructure.
During the discussions, the participants of the Kurultai emphasized issues related to sustainable development of the regions and improving the welfare of citizens.
The delegates called for the need for repairs and construction of roads, creation of water supply facilities and social institutions, as well as the construction of affordable housing. Solutions to problems with pasture lands and the return of illegally privatized plots to state ownership were proposed.
Additionally, the agenda included issues such as the high price of medicines, the development of small hydropower plants, support for the tourism industry, strengthening family values, and youth education, highlighting the importance of active interaction between government bodies and the population.
