According to Bekeshev, the owners of this company "fled," leaving their employees without full payment for their work.
"This company is no longer on our market. We should be more careful in selecting firms that wish to provide state or municipal services. What will we do now? What to do with IMEI codes when the company has disappeared?" the deputy stated.
At that moment, the agenda included a draft law "On Amendments to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic 'On State and Municipal Services'," which was being considered in the first reading.
Former Prime Minister Akylbek Japarov also expressed the possibility of terminating the contract with the firm responsible for the registration of IMEI codes in 2024.
He emphasized that the company's work causes dissatisfaction among citizens due to the lack of information about the registration process and problems with access to the service.
Japarov noted that if necessary, decisive steps would be taken, including the termination of the contract with this organization.
