
The Mayor of Bishkek, Aibek Junushaliev, went on a tour of the city to assess the aftermath of the snowfall.
As a result of the inspection, the mayor issued a number of directives for the relevant services and emphasized the importance of their coordinated efforts, the mayor's office reports. "It is necessary to ensure clean and safe streets for the residents and guests of the capital. All services must operate without interruptions," he noted.
The municipal enterprise "Tazalyk" is operating in an enhanced mode. Since early morning, specialized equipment has been involved in the city's cleaning, and the enterprise's employees are working around the clock.
For clearing the snow cover and spreading anti-icing materials, 51 units of MAZ, 4 units of HOWO with blades, 3 front loaders, 34 Belarus tractors, 5 Bobcat units, 5 units of UKM, and 3 snow loaders are being utilized.
Street cleaning operations will continue depending on weather conditions.
