Present at the celebration were Mayor Aibek Junushaliev, the Commissioner for Children's Rights of the Kyrgyz Republic Asel Chynbaeva, and Deputy Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Zhyldyzbek Abdrayimov.
Junushaliev congratulated the young participants on the upcoming New Year.
About 3,000 children participated in the event, including honor students, active participants in school activities, winners of various competitions, as well as children from large and socially vulnerable families.
A festive program was prepared for the children, including a theatrical performance titled "The 7 Wonders of Kyrgyzstan."
