
The construction of modern bus stop complexes has already begun
According to information provided by the press service of the city hall, the mayor of Bishkek, Aibek Junushaliev, officially announced the start of work on the construction of underground pedestrian crossings and modern bus stops on Chyngyz Aitmatov Avenue.
As part of this project, it is planned to build four underground crossings on the section from Semetey Street to A. Masaliev Avenue. One of these crossings has already been successfully put into operation on Chyngyz Aitmatov Avenue.
In addition, 16 new bus stop complexes will be installed in the area from Akhunbaev Street to Semetey Street, which will meet modern safety and comfort standards for passengers.
Due to the start of construction work, the section of Chyngyz Aitmatov Avenue from A. Masaliev Avenue to Semetey Street is temporarily closed to vehicular traffic.
The mayor has instructed all responsible city services to monitor the quality of work and complete it within the established deadlines to minimize inconvenience for the residents of the capital.
The work started during the holiday weekend, which will help reduce traffic load and lessen discomfort for the citizens.
