In Kyrgyzstan, work has begun on a project that involves the construction of a new road to the international airport "Manas." This information was announced by the press service of the Ministry of Transport and Communications.

On January 17, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture, Water Resources, and Processing Industry Bakyt Torobaev visited the future construction site to familiarize himself with the project.

Minister of Transport and Communications Absatttar Syrgabaev and his colleagues presented details, including the goals, technical specifications, and stages of project implementation. The road will be 17 km long and will have four lanes. The route will start from the intersection of the Northern Bypass Road of Bishkek with the Young Guard Avenue. The project includes a two-level transport interchange, lighting, and landscaping of the area.

The Ministry of Transport also emphasized that studies and design work are planned ahead.

In addition, the possibility of constructing a two-lane road and an 8.7 km bridge connecting the village of Mramornoye with the village of Vinogradnoye is being discussed in the Chuy region.

The ministry noted that the implementation of this project will help reduce traffic congestion, enhance road safety, improve infrastructure, and develop interregional connections.
