The Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry Bakyt Torobaev visited the site on January 17, where the construction of an alternative road leading to Manas International Airport is planned. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Transport on the same day.

At the meeting, Minister of Transport Abstatttar Syrgabaev and his colleagues presented information about the goals of this project, as well as discussed its technical specifications and implementation plans.

The project plans to construct a four-lane road 17 kilometers long, which will start from the intersection of the Northern Bypass Road of Bishkek with the Young Guard Boulevard. The project also includes the construction of a two-level transport interchange, lighting, and landscaping of the area.

In addition, an initiative is being considered in the Chui region for the construction of a two-lane road and a bridge, with a total length of 8.7 kilometers, connecting the villages of Mramornoe and Vinogradnoe.

As noted by the Ministry of Transport, the implementation of this project will help reduce traffic congestion, increase road safety, improve infrastructure, and develop interregional connections.
