The employees of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Bishkek have detained a person suspected of organizing a number of large fraudulent schemes, as reported by the press service of the city’s police department.
On January 15, 2026, an official complaint was received at the Sverdlovsk District Police Department from a representative of one of the limited liability companies, referred to as S.A. He reported the need to take action against citizen A.A.
The statement indicated that on January 9, 2026, citizen E.B. deceitfully obtained 4,000 US dollars by posing as a freight carrier on the route Khorgos – Moscow – Belgorod.
However, he violated the agreed route, passing through the border post "Dunlarova," and disposed of four vehicles at his discretion. The money obtained was spent on personal needs.
Based on this fact, a criminal case was initiated under Article 209 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning fraud on a particularly large scale.
During operational search activities, the suspect, citizen A.A., born in 1988, was detained and brought to the Investigative Service of the Sverdlovsk District Police Department. He is currently in the temporary detention facility of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Bishkek.
The Sverdlovsk District Court has decided to place him in custody, and he will remain in pre-trial detention center No. 1 until the investigation is completed.
Four vehicles that the suspect did not manage to sell were found and seized. They are currently at a specialized impound lot. It has also been established that he is involved in a number of similar fraudulent activities.
