Adylbek Kasymaliev, who holds the position of Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, handed over the keys to new specialized vehicles to the Ministry of Energy of the country.

According to the Ministry of Energy, as part of the capital construction and modernization plan for the facilities of OJSC "Kyrgyzstan National Electric Network," 17 JAC-T8 crew vehicles and 8 SHANMON-388H backhoe loaders were purchased. Additionally, within the framework of the project "Modernization and Sustainable Development of the Energy Sector," 2 45-meter high-lift trucks based on KAMAZ-43118 and an additional 10 JAC-N56 crew vehicles were acquired.

The total cost of the 37 units of specialized equipment purchased amounted to 145.8 million soms.

At the ceremony dedicated to the transfer of the equipment, Kasymaliev emphasized that the development of the energy sector is an important direction of the state strategy. He reported that, on the instructions of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, large projects are currently being implemented and coordinated construction work is being carried out in the energy sector.

"The energy sector of Kyrgyzstan is constantly developing, the technical base is being strengthened, and hydropower capacities are being updated. We are modernizing hydropower plants, replacing outdated units, which allows us to extend their service life. All of this is the result of your labor. In recent years, we have acquired hundreds of units of specialized and service vehicles. I am confident that positive changes in the energy sector will continue. Today we have also handed over new equipment to you, and I hope it will benefit the people and the state," noted Kasymaliev.

It should be noted that in 2025, more than 160 units of specialized vehicles were purchased for the energy and coal industries.
