In the Tyup district of the Issyk-Kul region, a joyful event took place: Baktygul Mambetkazieva became a mother at the age of 42, giving birth to her son after eight daughters, as reported by Turmush correspondent.

Baktygul was born on March 20, 1983, in the village of Kichi-Oryuktu, where she still lives today. She is a housewife and previously completed her education as an accountant in Bishkek.

Her husband, Elnur Sagibaev, was born on October 6, 1976, and has a higher education in forestry, but is currently unemployed.

“My husband and I became spouses on January 19, 2003. We have nine children growing up,” she shared.

The list of their children includes:

— Aizhamal — November 4, 2003,

— Bermet — October 14, 2005,

— Toktoayim — July 1, 2009,

— Aisuna — September 2, 2014,

— Khanbiike — October 29, 2016,

— Zhadira — August 26, 2018,

— Shakhrizada — January 5, 2021,

— Uuldana — June 3, 2023,

— Ertabyldy — January 26, 2026.

Each childbirth was a trial for her, but as she says, “every child comes with their own happiness. I endured everything and am infinitely grateful to the Almighty.”

Her son Ertabyldy was born on January 26, 2026, in the Karakol maternity hospital. “This was my third delivery by cesarean section. His weight was 3 kg 800 grams. We were under medical supervision, and the delivery went successfully,” she shared.

“Now both the baby and I feel good. My husband and I are hardworking and try to raise our children at a level no worse than others. There have been tough days, but thank God we have our own home,” Baktygul noted.

She also added: “As Kamchybek Tashievich said, from January 1, assistance to large families was supposed to begin in the Issyk-Kul region. I am the first in Karakol to give birth to a ninth child; this has never happened before. We in the Tyup district are also among the first.”
“They talked about financial assistance, but our village was not included in the list of high-altitude zones. I don’t understand why this happened, as we live at the foot of the mountains. We don’t have stable jobs, and we would like the government to provide at least some support, as everything is very expensive right now,” she added.

“We raise our children ourselves, trying to provide them with everything they need. We are involved in milk separation and selling sour cream, working tirelessly. It would be wonderful to receive any assistance,” concluded Baktygul Mambetkazieva.
