According to the local police press service, on February 13 at 03:03, a report was received at the "102" service number that 27-year-old S.D., a resident of Jumgal district, was found hanged in a livestock shed on his property.
The incident has been registered in the electronic log of the Jumgal District Department of Internal Affairs, and investigations have been initiated. An operational investigative group arrived at the scene to conduct an examination. According to the initial inspection, only a mark from a rope was found on the neck of the deceased, and no other bodily injuries were detected.
On February 12, prior to the tragedy, S.D.'s wife, A.K., discovered a conversation on her husband's mobile phone with a woman named T.N. and learned that he had been sending her money. This became the cause of a conflict between the spouses. As a result, A.K. invited the wife of her older relative (in Kyrgyz - жeне) and around 01:30 a.m. left S.D.'s house, expressing her desire to divorce.
It is worth noting that in January 2026, T.N. filed a statement with S.D., informing him that they had a relationship, after which she learned about her pregnancy and asked him for financial help for an abortion.
According to her, S.D. agreed, but subsequently did not transfer the money and stopped answering her calls, going into hiding. In this regard, appropriate checks were conducted, and a procedural decision was made based on the obtained data.
Currently, investigations are ongoing to clarify all the circumstances of the incident, conducted by the Internal Investigation Service of the Naryn region's Department of Internal Affairs in conjunction with the methodological control department of the investigative service,” the official statement reads.
