In our "Zhubaýlar" section, we will tell the story of Aliya Tahirjanova, who lives in the Chui region, and her husband Alexander Zarubin.
Aliya shared with a Turmush correspondent the details of how they met. She was born on January 18, 2007, and spent her childhood in the village of Bosteri. Now, Aliya lives in Moscow, where she is engaged in custom clothing tailoring and is studying at the "Praktika School," mastering the profession of designer-modeler.

Aliya got married at the age of 18. Her husband has his own sewing production. They met in the winter of 2023 when she and her mother were looking for work in the sewing industry and came across an advertisement posted by Alexander. They met at an interview, and their communication gradually grew into something more. Closer to the summer of 2024, Alexander confessed his feelings, but Aliya initially did not agree because he was not a Muslim. However, he promised to convert to Islam and marry her.

On August 5, 2024, he fulfilled his promise and converted to Islam, after which they began dating. Despite some objections from relatives, Aliya ultimately received her mother's blessing. The nikah took place on October 10, 2025, at the mosque, and the wedding was held on October 16 in accordance with Kyrgyz traditions.

Alexander Zarubin was born on July 14, 1992, in Solikamsk, Russia. Although some of Aliya's relatives expressed dissatisfaction with the difference in mentality, Alexander's parents, on the contrary, supported their choice, saying, "This is your life, your choice. We wish you happiness."

Aliya quickly adapted to her new life, as her husband is caring and attentive. After their wedding, his parents spent a week with them and then suggested living separately to avoid interfering.

Aliya also shared some funny moments from their life. She and her husband have a similar sense of humor, and people often ask them on the street, "Are you from different nationalities?" Alexander's family was not well acquainted with Kyrgyz customs, but they gifted Aliya a large Russian shawl and a Russian doll for her younger sister. Despite this, their wedding was entirely conducted in Kyrgyz traditions.

According to Aliya, in the early days of their life together, there were difficulties due to the language barrier, as she could not always fully understand her husband speaking in Russian. But they managed to overcome these obstacles and continue to build their future together.
At the moment, Aliya feels that she has not achieved significant accomplishments; however, on February 24, she had a pre-defense of her clothing collection sketches at her educational institution. They have been living together for 4 months and 24 days.

In her free time, Aliya engages in repairing and altering clothes. Her dreams for the future are to open her own clothing brand and become a mother. Although they do not have children yet, they hope for this in the near future.
