He noted that the country's water bodies are ideal for sport and recreational fishing.
Kasymaliev also reported that Kyrgyz athletes are demonstrating good results on the international stage. For example, the feeder team took 20th place at the 2024 World Championship in Spain. This month, the team will represent the country at the 15th World Championship in Italy.
At the end of the event, Kasymaliev announced the opening of the feeder fishing season for 2026 and congratulated the Federation of Sport Fishing of Kyrgyzstan on its tenth anniversary.
