Incidence of Influenza and ARVI by Districts and Cities of Chuy Region

As of today, there is an increase in the incidence of influenza and ARVI in Kyrgyzstan. In this regard, some educational institutions in various regions are transitioning to distance learning, and a number of kindergartens are closing for quarantine.

Turmush correspondent has gathered current data on the situation in educational institutions in the region.

According to information from the Chui Regional Methodological Department of Education, as of 15:00 on December 10, 21 schools from the Issyk-Ata district and 7 schools in the city of Kant have switched to distance learning.

In total, there are 182,188 students in the region, of which 21,921 students are suffering from influenza. The highest number of cases has been registered in the city of Tokmok. In the kindergartens of the region, there are 27,020 children, among whom 4,415 (not counting those in quarantine) have also fallen ill with influenza or ARVI. It is important to note that all kindergartens in the Sokuluk district are closed for quarantine.
