The Bezymyanny Volcano has been assigned a red aviation hazard level, indicating potential risks for air transport both in the region and beyond.
Located in the central part of the Klyuchevskaya volcanic group, this volcano is 40 kilometers from the village of Klyuchi and 350 kilometers from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
On November 10, the Kamchatka group monitoring volcanic activity noted that the volcanic activity of Bezymyanny continues to increase, which may herald a serious explosive eruption.
According to experts, the volcano's activity is accompanied by intense gas and vapor emissions, as well as hot lava flows. Satellite observations have revealed significant thermal anomalies, indicating a high temperature difference between the active zone and the surrounding environment, which suggests an increase in magmatic activity in the crater.
