
Lukashenko noted that the Kyrgyz side had requested support due to a fuel shortage caused by the destruction inflicted by Ukrainian forces on Russian territory, particularly at oil refineries. He emphasized that, despite obligations to Russia regarding supplies, Belarus was able to allocate some resources for Kyrgyzstan. "We are very close, we have good relations," he added while speaking with journalists in Bishkek at a press conference during the CSTO summit.
