According to NBC News sources, Netanyahu plans to convince Trump that the Iranian missile program poses a serious threat that requires immediate action.
In his arguments, the Israeli Prime Minister will refer to the fact that Iran's actions threaten not only Israel but also U.S. interests in the region. Netanyahu also intends to offer Trump options for Washington's involvement or support in the event of new military operations.
Earlier this week, Trump, in response to reporters' questions about a possible meeting with Netanyahu, stated that nothing has been officially scheduled yet, although the Israeli Prime Minister has expressed a desire to hold such a meeting. Nevertheless, Israeli officials confirmed that the meeting is planned for December 29.
