On Tuesday, June 24, 2025, damage is visible at the enrichment facility in Fordow in a satellite image provided by Maxar Technologies.
At a meeting with leaders of the nuclear industry, Pezeshkian emphasized: “We will restore nuclear facilities and enhance their capacity. Iran's nuclear program is strictly peaceful in nature.”

Military actions by Israel, which began on June 13 under the name "People as a Lion," were aimed at destroying Iran's nuclear and missile programs. In response, Tehran began shelling Israeli territories, including Tel Aviv and Haifa, using missiles and drones.

The situation escalated on June 22 when the U.S. struck three key nuclear sites in Iran: Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. U.S. President Donald Trump stated that this action was taken to prevent a nuclear threat from Tehran. Two days later, he announced that Iran and Israel had reached a ceasefire agreement.
