Turkish Deputies Fought During Budget Meeting
During the meeting dedicated to the adoption of the budget, a scuffle occurred between deputies of the ruling Justice and Development Party and the opposition Republican People's Party, reports the Haberler portal.
“Tensions rose after the voting, and the confrontation between the two sides quickly escalated into a physical altercation,” the source notes.
The situation was managed thanks to the intervention of other members of parliament.
The draft budget of the central government for 2026 was successfully adopted.
