Former Prime Minister of Malaysia sentenced to 15 years for abuse of power

During the court proceedings, Judge Collin Lawrence Sequerah found Najib Razak guilty on four charges of embezzlement and 21 counts of money laundering, with the total amount exceeding 544 million dollars. This is the second major trial against Najib Razak on corruption charges; he was previously convicted in a similar case. The court established that the former prime minister was aware of all financial transactions, despite the defense's claims of "political donations" from Saudi Arabia.
