At the World Rapid Chess Championship taking place in Doha under the auspices of FIDE, Mungunzul Bat-Erdene managed to defeat the famous Chinese chess player Ju Wenjun.

In the final round of the day, Ju played with the white pieces against Mungunzul Bat-Erdene, who has a rating 300 points lower. At a critical moment in the game, Ju was able to achieve a winning position, but due to a lack of time, she made a mistake and ultimately lost.
