The band THE HU, known for their innovations in rock music and having become a global phenomenon, continues to push the boundaries of the genre. Their fresh single 'The Real You' was released on January 23 under the Better Noise Music label, as reported by MiddleAsianNews.

The new track showcases their unique "hunnu rock" style, which combines traditional Mongolian instruments and throat singing with modern rock sounds, reaching a new level of musical experience.

The single 'The Real You' was created under the guidance of producer Dashka (Dashdondog Bayarmagnai) and mixed by the experienced Chris Lord-Alge, a five-time Grammy winner. The composition is available on all digital platforms, and its music video can be seen below.

"This single is our calling card for the upcoming album," notes Temka, who plays the tovshuur and is a throat singer in THE HU. "While our new album will feature traditional songs with characteristic rhythms, there aren't many fast and energetic compositions like this one. We wrote it inspired by the image of our ancestors who rode horses across beautiful expanses. Listen to feel the hidden emotions and powerful energy we want to convey. Enjoy!"

'The Real You' raises the question of not judging others but focusing on one's own development.

The basis of the lyrics is a Mongolian proverb: "Өөрийн толгой дээрх бухлыг харахгүй байж Өрөөлийн толгой дээрх өвсийг харах" — "Don't worry about what is on someone else's head, worry only about what you lack." The song is performed in Mongolian, but listeners can feel its emotional depth and power through strong words such as: "Will you continue to slander, manipulate, threaten, and insult? / Can one continue to endure, fear, and hide?"

THE HU has passionately presented Mongolian music on the world stage. In November 2022, they became the first rock/metal band to receive the UNESCO 'Artist for Peace' award at the organization's headquarters in Paris, presented by UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay. Previous laureates included stars like Celine Dion and Shirley Bassey. With over 961 million streams and 483 million video views, their albums have topped charts, and their concerts have filled venues. The band has also collaborated with renowned rock musicians, and their music is featured in games like 'Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order' by EA Games, further solidifying their status on the international stage.

This summer, on July 11, THE HU will perform alongside IRON MAIDEN at Knebworth Park in the UK and will also participate in Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson's American tour 'Freaks On Parade,' which kicks off on August 20 in West Palm Beach, Florida.
