The exhibition 'The Real Genghis Khan' has opened in the USA

As reported by MiddleAsianNews, the official launch of the exhibition 'The Real Genghis Khan' took place on January 28, 2026, at the Mulva Cultural Center located in Des Peres, Wisconsin.

Attending the event were Des Peres Mayor James Boyd, Counselor Ambassador Battushig Zanabazar, Cultural Center Director Marv Wall, and over 450 guests, including representatives from the U.S. government and cultural organizations.

The aim of the exhibition is to present the historical journey of Genghis Khan and his Great Mongol Empire, as well as to showcase an extensive collection of artifacts related to the 12th century and connected to the nomadic lifestyle and cultural heritage of the Mongols.

The exhibition was last held in Idaho, USA, in 2022, where it was warmly received by the public, and now it opens its doors again in Des Peres.

The exhibition 'The Real Genghis Khan' will be open for visits from January 31 to May 3, 2026.

The exhibition offers unique opportunities:

Each performance by Mongolian artists lasts about 15 minutes, offering the audience a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich musical and cultural traditions of Mongolia.

The performance program includes traditional Mongolian mask dances, music on authentic instruments such as the morin khuur and yatga, as well as throat singing.

After each performance, the artists remain on stage for 15 minutes to interact with visitors, where they can answer questions and talk about their costumes, instruments, and cultural traditions,” reports the Malva Cultural Center through a source.
